NYC Look #3

The last day in NYC happened to be the coldest day of the trip and the one day that we didn’t go into the city. A grey tracksuit was my outfit of choice so I could stay warm while also being comfortable.

Thanks to Kim K, it is now socially acceptable to wear tracksuits to places other than in your home or to the grocery store. Kim usually pairs her joggers with stilettos however, I have extremely flat feet so for me stilettos with joggers defeats the purpose of wanting to be comfortable.

Instead, I chose to wear the Old Skool vans that everyone and their mother has, but for good reason. They’re extremely comfortable and go with absolutely everything. If you only own white sneakers like I did before purchasing these, I definitely suggest investing in a pair of black and white vans. They’re affordable, and just as versatile as a pair of white sneakers.

I accessorized with hoop earrings and my favourite round sunglasses, two accessories that I wear way too often. I finished the look with a long black fur coat which really elevates the outfit. I think it takes the look from being something that you would wear at home to something that you could actually wear out as well. The look is perfect to go to class, casual lunches or dinners, or just to shop around.

Wearing:

  • Sunglasses – RayBan
  • Earrings – Forever 21
  • Hoodie – Aritzia
  • Joggers – Aritzia
  • Shoes – Old Skool Vans
  • Coat – Thrifted
